RUSTING OF A PLASTIC VW BADGE
The plastic badge was cleaned and scuffed using a simple piece of sandpaper. The badge was then painted in our RealRust paint, and left to dry.
Once our paint was dry, it was then sanded all over with wet and dry sand paper. The hard to reach places were sanded with some scotchbrite pads. The piece was then fully cleaned, and our activator was applied.
After a second application of our activator, we were left with a fully rusted product. The rusting process had taken less than an hour!
